The 7-day Summer Youth Camp–2026 was organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Jalpaiguri from May 9th to 15th, 2026, with the aim of promoting character building, discipline, patriotism, spiritual awareness, social responsibility, and holistic development among youth. A total of 48 participants actively took part in the seven-day programme.
Each day began with Panch Shanti Mantra Chanting with meaning, Gita recitation (12th Chapter), Murta Maheshwar, and the National Song, followed by Yoga sessions conducted by Sri Suvodip Saha Choudhury.
Various lectures and the interactive sessions were conducted on important topics such as:

• Environment – Dr. Arun Kumar Sit
• Ideal Life – Sri Samir Dasgupta
• True Education – Sri Mihir Banerjee
• Civic Sense – Sri Ashim Bhattacharya
• Serving the Poor – Sri Subrata Bhattacharya
• Respect for Parents & Teachers – Sri Deb Kumar Ghose
• Health & Hygiene – Dr. Bidhan Saha
• Swadesh Mantra – Swami Sarvapujyananda
• Patriotism & Nationalism – Sri Debajyoti Ghosh
• Official Language of India (Hindi) – Sri Ashutosh Kumar Shrivastava
• Moral Lessons – Swami Kalyanakarananda
Participants also visited the Book Stall and explored books on spirituality, values, Indian culture, and the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Sri Ramakrishna.
Daily Bhajan sessions were conducted by:

• Pratyush Chakraborty
Guided Meditation sessions by Swami Shivapremananda and Br. Muktishachaitanya helped participants develop concentration and inner calmness.
Creative and social activities included:

• Cleaning Activities
• Instrumental Performances
Participants themselves served breakfast and lunch, learning teamwork, discipline, dignity of labour, and selfless service. Educational and inspirational film shows were screened daily, and every session concluded with the National Anthem.
The camp concluded on 15th May 2026 with a Valedictory Session including addresses by monastic members, participant feedback, closing song, complementary gifts, and group photograph.
Overall, the camp successfully inspired the youth towards discipline, spirituality, patriotism, service, and moral values.
