7. VALUE EDUCATION PROGRAMME |
On 12 January 2017, National Youth Day, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri in collaboration with Ramakrishna Math (Yogodyan), Kankurgacchi, Kolkata had organized a colourful grand procession involving almost all higher Secondary School students with their teachers representing the schools. Apart from them, devotees and general public also joined the procession. The main attraction of the procession was Shashwata Bharata Ratha with Viveka-Vahini tableau. The procession added a musical dimensions with Bands/ Dhaks/ Dholes/ Colourful performances from schools, Blowing Konch with colourful dresses, etc.
Total participants including students, teachers and general public were around 1400. The procession started from Ashrama campus at 8 am and come back to Ashrama at 10 am, passing through the main streets of the Jalpaiguri town. At the end of the procession the Ashrama arranged a short cultural programme in the campus with the students, teachers and devotees where apart from speeches by monastics and VIPs, songs on Swamiji was sung and Swadesh Mantra and Chicago Address were recited. The programme ended with giving books, photos and snacks packets to everyone participated in the programme.

The Annual Celebration was observed on 30th March , 31st March & 2nd April 2017 at the premises of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama , Jalpaiguri ,marking the days on Sri Ramakrishna, Maa Sarada Devi and Swamiji Vivekananda respectively. The Ashrama Campus was colourfully decorated with flower tubs and illuminated with lights and Messages of Holy Trinity were displayed.
During the annual Celebration people thronged in the Ashrama premises to hear the deliberations of Monks and dignitaries on the life of Holy Trinity & Sister Nivedita. Swami Nityamuktanandaji Maharaj, Swami Satyadevanandaji Maharaj, Krishna Sengupta, Samir Kumar Dasgupta and Jahirul Alam were the main speakers. The evening programme comprised of Cultural programmes performed by Swami Divyavratanandaji Maharaj , Ramakrishna Mission Blind Boys’ Academy, Narendrapur, folk artists from Assam and other instrumental and vocal artists. The performance of Blind Boys’ academy, Bihu and Sotriya dance of men folk artists from Assam left the audience spell bound. Besides, film shows on the life of Holy Trio & Sister Nivedita were shown on a Mega Screen on all the days.
Exhibition on the lives of the Holy Trio and Sister Nivedita were displayed in independent enclosures put up at the Ashram a Compound. A prototype of Kamarpukur (Birth place of Sri Ramakrishna) was built up at the entrance to create a rural ambience. Continuous video clippings on Belur Math and lives were shown on a LED Screen in a separate enclosure beside the main pandel.
Five decorative gates were erected at important road intersections of Jalpaiguri town to mark the Annual Celebration and 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Sister Nivedita.
This apart, bookstall, snacks/tea/juice stalls, first aid stall, drinking water stall, mobile toilet unit etc were set up by different social organizations/Govt. bodies and paramilitary forces in the Ashrama premises to entertain and provide essential services to the attending devotees and general public.
A huge number of people thronged the Ashrama premises on all the days to attend the evening programmes. Tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the people of the locality who got actively involved in the programme by illuminating their houses and cleaning up the surroundings, to mark the occasion.
Khichuri Prasad was distributed among around 4000 people on 2nd April’2017.
Pamphlets on Sri Ramakrishna Dev were distributed among the people attending the programme on the concluding day.
PROGRAMMES ORGANISED TO MARK
THE 150TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF SISTER NIVEDITA.
31st MARCH, 2017
A day long programme to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sister Nivedita jointly organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri and Ramakrishna Mission, Darjeeling was held on 31st March, 2017 at Siliguri.
A colourful grand procession was organized in the early morning of 31st March, 2017 in Siliguri town, where around 1400 students/ youths and general public participated . Besides, there were 14 tableaus( including Shashwata Bharata Ratha and Viveka Vahini) depicting the life and teachings of Sister Nivedita and Indian cultural heritage. Women participants blew Shankha and carried decorative Kalashas, Kulos etc making the procession more appealing. Similarly, NCC troupes, Bands, Dhaks, tribal dance, Bihu and Sotriya dance(Assam) troupe from Assam, added colours to the grand procession organized in the streets of Siliguri town. Different social organizations , Govt Departments, local bodies etc actively participated to mark the procession a grand success. Thousands of people gathered in the streets to witness the event. Books, mementos, photos and Tiffin packets were given to the participants after the procession.
A Youth Convention was organized later in the day after the procession, at Matri Bhawan, 2 ½ Mile, Siliguri, where 310 student/Youth delegates from different educational institutions of Siliguri town, attended.
In the youth convention, Senior Monks of the order addressed the students, youth and teachers, propagating the message of Swami Vivekananda and Sister Nivedita. They were briefed to develop a wider outlook and pursue higher ideals to prepare themselves in the task of Nation building.
Books, attractive mementos and lunch packets were distributed among the attending delegates.
In the evening, a devotees convention was organized at the same venue where around 450 devotees attended.
Swami Divyanandaji Maharaj, Swami Nityamuktanandaji Maharaj, Swami Divyavratanandaji Maharaj, Swami Nityasatyanandaji Maharaj, Swami Arunatmanandaji Maharaj and Swami Purnabrahmanandaji Maharaj were the prominent speakers in both the conventions held throughout the day.
Besides, devotional songs were performed by monastic members, followed by a film show on Bhagini Nivedita. All the attending devotees were given snacks and books after the convention.
A grand procession was also organized in Jalpaiguri town, on the following day i.e. on 1st April,2017, to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary celebration of Sister Nivedita. Around 2000 students, youth from different educational institutions and general public of Jalpaiguri town, participated in the procession. Members of different social organizations also joined the procession in huge numbers.
11 colourful tableaus including “ SHASHWATA BHARATA RATHA” and “ VIVEKA VAHINI” from Ramakirshna Math ( Yogodyan) Kolkata added grandeur to the event. The tableaus mostly depicted life and work of Swami Vivekananda, Sister Nivedita and the wonderful heritage of the country. Women participants of different social organizations blew Shankha and carried decorative Kulos and Kalashas adding to its colour.The participation of decorated horse and Dhaks were quite remarkable. Besides, Paramilitary/Police Bands played their tunes, during and after the procession, making it more attractive.
Tribal dances by local folk artists and Sotriya dance by folk troupes from Assam, were also performed on the procession route in the streets of Jalpaiguri town.
Numerous people gathered on route to witness the grand event. Books, mementos, photos and Tiffin packets were distributed among students/ youth and other participants. Photos were also distributed among the general public who had gathered on route.
A Youth Convention was held later in the day at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama premises, where 400 student/ youth delegates participated from different educational institutions of Jalpaiguri town and adjoining areas.
Swami Nityamuktanandaji Maharaj and Swami Divyavratanandaji Maharaj addressed the delegates propagating the lofty ideals of Swami Vivekananda and Sister Nivedita. The speakers appealed to the delegates to reframe their outlook in shaping modern India and rededicate themselves to the realization of the universal ideals of harmony, love and unselfishness. They were briefed to get a comprehensive vision on the Ramakrishna movement and inculcate in them a workable set of values to build up their character.
Besides, devotional songs were performed by local artists during the convention. All the attending devotees were given snacks and books after the convention.
In the concluding session, students/ youth performed their event on stage and were later given prizes by revered monks. Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri had earlier conducted series of competitions among students of schools and colleges of Jalpaiguri town held at the Ashrama premises on 25th and 26th February, 2017 in connection with the 150th Birth Anniversary celebration of Sister Nivedita. 296 students/youth from 30(thirty) educational institutions of Jalpaiguri town and adjoining areas participated in events like Drawing, Recitation, Storytelling , Speech, Music, Quiz etc on the aforesaid days.
All the attending delegates were given books, mementos, photos, and lunch packets after the convention.
The evening session was dedicated to Sister Nivedita. Apart from speeches of Revered monks and dignitaries, there were folk cultural programmes and film shows on the life of Sister Nivedita. Numerous people thronged the Ashrama premises to see the event.
On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Sister Nivedita, a weeklong Football tournament was organized by Jalpaiguri Young Cultural Club ( JYCC) with the assistance of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri from 10th to 16th April 2017.
8 football teams of Jalpaiguri town and adjoining blocks of the district participated in the tournament, where sports-loving people of Jalpaiguri town flocked to see the tournament matches. Ashrama inmates also actively participated in the event. Dignitaries including M.P., Jalpaiguri and Ex-MP Deba Prosad Roy and sports personalities of Jalpaiguri were present on the inaugural and the final day of the tournament.
On the final day, books and mementoes were given to the winning team, runners up team, support staff and special guests, by monks and dignitaries, present there.
“SHASHWATA-BHARATA RATHA” & “ VIVEKA-VAHINI”
A special campaign on value education ( workshop on 3Cs-concentration, confidence and character) was initiated by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri in collaboration with Ramakrishna Math, Yogodyan starting from 4th to 8th April 2017, in Jalpaiguri Sadar Sub-division and Mekhliganj Sub-division of Coochbehar district.
A total of 24 educational institutions ( 3 Colleges, 17 High Schools and 4 Primary Schools) were covered.
Around 800 students/youth and teachers of the aforesaid schools and colleges were involved in the value education programme. Besides, around 34000 students, youth and general public assembled in school/ college premises and on route to pay tributes to Swami Vivekananda.
The object of the programme was to make the students/youth pursue higher ideals in life through building up their character, developing confidence and concentration.
Apart from the workshop attendees, there was an overwhelming association of students, teachers and the general public in the unique campaign.
One of the major attractions was projecting the ideals of Swami Vivekananda through “SHASHWATA BHARATA RATHA” and “ VIVEKA VAHINI “ tableaus, which had already travelled all the districts of West Bengal , covering 1400 educational institutions in the state.
The tableaus attracted the students and youth of the region. It seemed to all as if Swamiji was giving a clarion call to all youth “ ARISE AWAKE AND STOP NOT TILL THE GOAL IS REACHED”.
During its journey through routes covering different educational institutions, in rural and town areas, the “ SHASHWATA BHARATA RATHA” and “ VIVEKA VAHINI” tableaus were received with warm welcome by the local populace, who gathered in huge numbers beside the road route traversed by the tableaus. In every school and college on the route, students and teachers assembled beside the road waving tri colour, playing Sankha, band and showering flower petals, paying their tributes to Swamiji.
Monastic members of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri and Ramakrishna Math, Yogodyan delivered inspiring speeches addressing the students/youth and teachers attending the workshop on 3 Cs. The interactive workshops created tremendous enthusiasm among the students/youth and teachers who got an opportunity to learn the basic values in life and reframe their outlook. The teachers of schools termed the interactive value learning course as unprecedented and gave an overwhelming response to the move.
In continuation of programmes, jointly organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri and Ramakrishna Mission, Darjeeling to mark the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sister Nivedita, the last but one was organized at Dinabandhu Manch, Siliguri, on 1 July, 2017. The ceremony was received a tremendous response from the people. Around 700 devotees, admirers, students and youth attended the function to pay their homage . Revered Swami Sarvalokanandaji Maharaj, addressed the gathering. Apart from lectures and students’ cultural programme, the Light and Sound show by Shipra –Vision Sanstha of Bhilai-Chattisgarh was performed. The programme ended with National Anthem. Complementary gifts were distributed among the attending audience.
In continuation of programmes organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri to mark the 150 Birth Anniversary of Sister Nivedita, the last one was organized at Art Gallery Auditorium, Jalpaiguri on 2nd July, 2017. The ceremony was received a tremendous response from the people. Around 900 devotees, admirers, students, teachers and youth attended the function to pay their homage . Revered Swami Sarvalokanandaji Maharaj & Swami Purnabrahmanandaji Maharaj, addressed the gathering. Apart from the lectures and students’ programs & the Light and sound show by Shipra –Vision Sanstha of Bhilai-Chattisgarh was performed.The last attraction of the programme was performed by “BSF BAND UNIT” who played several patriotic songs along with National Anthem.Complementary gifts were distributed among the attending audience.
Our Jalpaiguri Ashrama organized a Transport Workers’ Conference in our Ashrama precinct on Sunday evening, 27 August 2017, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. There were 168 drivers of different categories of vehicle who attended the programme. Swami Shivapremananda gave the Welcome Address. The programme included bhajans, and talks on the holy lives of Sri Sri Thakur, Sri Sri Ma and Swamiji by Swami Muktidanandaji, Swami Devarajanandaji, Swami Atmavidanandaji, Swami Paranandaji and Sri Samir Kumar Dasgupta. A film on the life of Swamiji was also shown. The attending transport workers liked the conference very much. The programme ended with complementary gifts provided to them.
Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, has conducted a Value Education programme in collaboration with Ramakrishna Math (Yogodyan) on 31 December 2017 at Cooch Behar. The programme was organized by Deshbandhu Club, Khagrabari, Cooch Behar.
The programme consists of a quiz-competition on Modern Science and the life of Swami Vivekananda and Sister Nivedita. Besides, talks by monks, patriotic songs and songs on Swamiji was sung by the local artists and students.
There was a gathering of 200 students, teachers and general public. All the students and teachers were given a book and photo of Swami Vivekananda.
On the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Sister Nivedita, a prograamme was jointly organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Jalpaiguri & Ramakrishna Math (Yogodyan), Kankurgachhi, Kolkata, at the office of the Provident Fund Commissioner, Dinbazar, Jalpaiguri on 23 November 2017 on Value Education. The programme consisted of Strategic Talk, Guided Meditation and distribution of related literature among the participants. 80 officers and staffs participated in the programme.

PARTICIPATION IN “SHRAMIK MELA” Jalpaiguri, 2018 January 16 to 18
Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, participated in the “SHRAMIK MELA” Jalpaiguri, 2018 held during 16 to 18 January, 2018. This is an attempt by the various departments of the State Government to display their current schemes like various self help groups, health, small industry, customer awareness, legal support, entitlements on various positions etc for the welfare of the laborers arranged under the initiatives of the State Government.
In this fair, Jalpaiguri Ashrama participated on the organisers’ invitation and placed the SHASHWATA BHARATA TABLEAU at the entrance of the Mela just inside the Mela Campus. A good number of dignitaries of the State Government have attended the programme. In the opening ceremony, there was a huge gathering of around 2000 persons of Jalpaiguri district. After the opening ceremony, there was a cultural programme arranged by local artists. There was a Book Stall of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature and a small pictorial exhibition on the life of Swami Vivekananda. There was a dedicated one hour programme on Swami Vivekananda organized by the Ashrama on 17 Jan 2018 in the evening. A good number of people attended our Ashrama stall and visited the pictorial exhibition.

The weeklong Annual Celebration 2018 in Commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s 125th Anniversary of Chicago Addresses and 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Sister Nivedita was conducted in Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri from 16 to 22 April, 2018.

On 22 April 2018 a Grand Procession was organised where in India’s Contribution to the World in different fields were highlighted through tableau and day long discourses and cultural programme were organised.
Most Revered Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj, Vice President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math kindly stayed at the Ashrama for five days and initiated devotees on three days. His kind stay in the Ashrama and His Benedictory Address showered gladness and happiness among spiritual seekers, devotees and admirers. The speeches in Bengali, Hindi and in English of the Monastics and Guest Speakers and the other programmes were highly applauded by the audience. About 18000 people benefited from this celebration.
It would also be worthwhile to mention here that the residents arranged to accommodate 200 residential delegates in their houses. Sri Sarada Sangha, Sri Ramakrishna Maa Sarada Pathachakra, Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal , Office Bearers and Members of Uttaranchal Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Bhava Prachar Parishad , Sabar Swamiji Sangha, JYCC Club and other educational institutions have participated in this programme. Volunteers from different Ashramas rendered services to make the programme successful.
A book stalls with huge number of books in multilingual languages attracted large number visitors and who acquired variety of books on Thakur –Maa-Swamiji and on Indian cultural and religion.
The Ashrama premises were decorated with various materials depicting pictorial life and teachings of the Holy Trio. The weather was very pleasant throughout. The houses on Mission road Ashrama para were illuminated with lamps and boundary walls were colourfully painted by the residents spontaneously.
Local admirers constructed five large Gates with pictures and quotations of Swamiji and Sister Nivedita. Similarly hoardings with pictures and quotations put up at different points of the city. Whole hearted an enthusiastic participation was witnessed among the people of the entire city and also residents from various other areas of North Bengal and also of the other districts of West Bengal and Assam. Different Government, Non-Government organisations, all walks of people extended their whole hearted support for the successful completion of the programme.
On 22nd February, 2018 our Jalpaiguri centre had conducted religious discourses in the Ashrama in commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s 125th Anniversary of Chicago Address. The speaker was Swami Devarajananda. In this connection, around 180 devotees congregated. The main theme of discourses was responsibility of the devotees towards Ramakrishna order. The programme commenced at 3.30 Pm and ended at around 6 Pm. All the attending devotees were given a small gift.
Herewith, acknowledged to different companies, individuals, admirers for giving Contributions and Support in kind like rice, tea and also vehicles, fire-extinguisher, technical support etc.

Knock-out football tournament organized by JYCC Club, Jalpaiguri in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri from 6th to 13th May 2018
Inter Club knockout Football tournament was held in the Jalpaiguri Young Cultural Club ( JYCC) club ground from 6th May to 13th May, 2018 to mark the 125th Anniversary of Historic Chicago Address of Swami Vivekananda with the assistance of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama , Jalpaiguri. Eight football teams of Jalpaiguri town including Oodlabari Rising Football academy and East Bengal Football Academy (North Bengal) participated in the tournament, where sports loving people of Jalpaiguri town witnessed the tournament matches.
Apart from Monastics, Local People, Devotees and Students, Sports Personalities like Sri Suhrid Mandal, Vice President, DSA, Sri Kumar Dutta, Secretary, DSA, Sri Santu Chatterjee, Secretary, Jalpaiguri District Veteran Sports Association , DOPE & YW, Jalpaiguri, Representative of DYO, Jalpaiguri including a good number of present and past district and state Footballers were present. Sri Biplab Majumder, Former National footballer also attended the ceremony.
A good number of sports personalities and Sports Lovers of the region were also present on the final day of the tournament.
Final match was played between Haldibari Football Academy, Haldibari, Coochbehar and Friends Union Club, Jalpaiguri on 13th may, 2018 . It was a well contested game. The game continued in Try-Breaker situation as the match ended in scheduled time with two goals each from both the team. Finally, the well contested game ended in Try-breaker and Haldibari Football academy won the match by 5 by 4.
On the final day , Books and mementos depicting Swamiji’s photo were given to the winning team, runners up team, support staff and special guests, by monks and dignitaries present there.
BRIEF REPORT ON COMMEMORATION OF 125TH ANNIVERSARY OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA'S
CHICAGO ADDRESSES ON 18.09.18 AT SILIGURI
In a series of programmes organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri in Jalpaiguri & Siliguri
A grand programme was organized in Siliguri town at the Uttar Banga Marwari Palace (Utsav Vatika), 2.5 Miles, Sevoke Road Siliguri on 18.09.2018.to commemorate the occasion,
The programme was divided into two sessions. In the morning session (9.00 Am to 2.00 Pm), a Youth convention was organized wherein Youths and Students of various educational institutions have participated. The programme was organized only for registered delegates (For Youths and Students). More than 1200 students and Youths from various schools and colleges have participated in the programme. Revered Monks of our order viz Revered Swami Divyanandaji Maharaj, Swami Shashankanandaji Maharaj, Rev. Swami Vimalatmanandaji Maharaj,
Rev. Swami Tattwarupanandaji Maharaj and Swami Nityasatyanandaji Maharaj have attended the function and delivered lectures on topics based on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Among the Guest speakers was Chakravarthy Sulibele from Bengaluru who has made a beautiful speech on the Subject “Achieve goal in the way of Swami Vivekananda”. A great enthusiasm was observed among the delegates. Apart from this, Chandan Kapuria performed Classical Song. The session was ended with Vote of Thanks given by Rev. Swami Nityasatyanandaji Maharaj and National anthem was sung by students. Lunch and complimentary gifts have been provided to the all the participants.
In the evening session (3.30 Pm to 9.00 Pm) the above mentioned Revered monks and Guest speaker Sri Chakravarthy Sulibele have delivered various speeches on the topics based on Holy-Trio. Around 300 persons from various walks of life have participated in the programme. Apart from various discourses, a classical dance programme was performed by Sri Jagat Jyoti Banerjee. After the programme was ended, all the participants have been provided tea, snacks and Complimentary gifts. The premises were well decorated with various posters, banners and decorative gates.
Shashwata Bharat Ratha Parikrama in Assam (15 to 25 May 2018)
Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, along with Ramakrishna Math (Yogodyan), Kankurgachhi, Kolkata, in collaboration with the Uttaranchal Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Bhava Prachar Parishad organised Shashwata Bharat Ratha Parikrama and Values Education Programme in Assam, to mark the 125th Anniversary of Chicago Addresses of Swami Vivekananda and the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sister Nivedita.
On 15 May 2018, a grand procession started in Golokganj with Shashwata Bharat Chariot of our Yogodyan Ashrama. The chariot then travelled the following places in Assam: Dhubri (16 – 17 May), Gouripur (18 May), Bilashi Para (18 – 19 May), Sapatgram (20 May), Fakiragram (21 May), Bijni (21 – 22 May), Tipkai (23 May), Dhubri (24 May) and Gosaingaon (24 – 25 May).
In all the places, different Ramakrishna Ashramas, the youth of local clubs and the students of various schools participated in the Ratha Parikrama. Folk artists, school bands, troupes playing Dhak (drums) and singing Bhajans and Kirtans formed a part of the procession. Cultural activities such as traditional dances of Rabha, Santal, Assamese and Bodo, youth conventions, values education workshops, question-answer sessions for the students, and public meetings were also held.
In all, about 9400 people, including students from 63 schools and 5 colleges, took part in the procession which covered 3 districts of Assam. Nine public meetings, 10 workshops, 29 cultural programmes were organized, which were attended by around 85,000 people.
Irrigation Minister of Assam Government, Minister from Bodo Territorial Council, Local MLAs, A.D.C, B.D.O, Bodo Leaders, and others attended the programmes at different places.
On this occasion, tree saplings were planted in many places by the youth. Pictorial exhibitions and film shows on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda were arranged. In each town, books on Swami Vivekananda were distributed free among the youths and the students.

Nara-Narayana Seva And Religious Discourse At Jalpaiguri, August 2018
Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, has conducted the Nara Narayan Seva considering the theme of “DARIDRA DEVO BHAVA” of Swami Vivekananda in the Ashrama premises on 15th August 2018 with the Holy company of Most Revered Swami Shivamayananda ji Maharaj. It was a pre-planned programme wherein a survey was conducted in the most interiors of Jalpaiguri district and Cooch Behar District and 140 most distressed and needy persons were identified for this purpose.
The Narayanas have been cordially invited and fed with 18 (eighteen) different delicious items to their utmost satisfaction. Apart from feeding, talks and Devotional Songs were held and Most Revered Vice President Maharaj delivered a Short Speech before the audience. After their lunch everyone has been provided with gift packs which would be used for their domestic purpose. It was very interesting for everyone to observe that Most Revered Maharaj himself started serving food.
On 15th August 2018 afternoon, the Ashrama has conducted religious discourses Dharma Prasanga, and in this connection 176 devotees congregated. The speakers were Swami Viragananda and Swami Durgananda. The main subject of discourses was “Nivedita of Ramakrishna and Vivekananda”. Silent Prayer, Devotional Songs etc were part of the programme.
