Only the youths have fresh brains and fertile faculties required to undergo training in creative fields such as religion, philosophy , literature, arts, sciences, technology, agriculture, and industry etc.. Infinite opportunities lie in front of youth. But he has to gain the wisdom to properly utilize those opportunities and chisel out a brilliant future. In order to build confidence in themselves, to inculcate discrimination enabling them to distinguish right from the wrong and ultimately character building is the sole purpose of youth convention.
These conventions are organized every now and then in the Ashrama premises as well other educational institutions by the Monastics and other Resourceful persons to soak the youngsters with the life and the teachings of Youth Icon, Swami Vivekananda.
