The Annual Celebration of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Jalpaiguri was observed with great devotion and enthusiasm on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at the Vivekananda Auditorium (under construction) within the Ashrama campus. A day-long spiritual and cultural programme was organized for the devotees and the general public.
The programme commenced in the early morning with Usha Kirtan, followed by Guided Meditation, Special Puja, and Religious Discourses. Throughout the day, a variety of devotional and cultural items were presented, including Devotional Songs, Classical Music, Band Music by SSB, Siliguri, Folk Music, Sitar Recital, Giti-Alekhya, Yoga Demonstration, Sri Ramakrishna Punthi Path, Recitation, Dance and other Cultural Performances, which were highly appreciated by the assembled devotees.
Swami Jivananandaji Maharaj of Ramakrishna Mission Sahudangi rendered devotional songs, while Swami Sevanandaji Maharaj of Sri Ramakrishna Sevashrama Choudhurihat presented soulful folk songs, which greatly enriched the devotional atmosphere of the celebration.
The programme witnessed the participation of around 3,500 devotees and well-wishers from Jalpaiguri town and its surrounding areas. Cooked Prasad was served to about 2,300 devotees.
The entire celebration was conducted smoothly and in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, bringing together devotees and admirers of Sri Ramakrishna, Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
At the conclusion of the programme, fruits, tea, and snacks were distributed to all the beneficiaries. The event was conducted smoothly in a spirit of compassion and dedicated service, reaffirming the Ashrama’s ongoing commitment to healthcare and humanitarian activities for the upliftment of society.
