Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, successfully organized a Maternity and Child Welfare Service Programme on 24th February 2026 with the generous financial assistance of the Infosys Foundation. The programme was undertaken with the objective of promoting maternal health and ensuring adequate nutrition and medical support for mothers and children belonging to economically weaker sections of society.
Under this initiative, beneficiaries were provided with Supplementary Nutritious Food Kits along with essential medicines to support their health and well-being. The coverage of the programme was as follows:
In total, 476 beneficiaries received assistance through this welfare service.
At the conclusion of the programme, fruits, tea, and snacks were distributed to all the beneficiaries. The event was conducted smoothly in a spirit of compassion and dedicated service, reaffirming the Ashrama’s ongoing commitment to healthcare and humanitarian activities for the upliftment of society.
