Report on the 164th Tithi Puja of Swami Vivekananda

Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, solemnly observed the 164th Tithi Puja of Swami Vivekananda on 10th January, Saturday with due reverence and devotion. The sacred occasion was marked by a series of spiritual programmes held at the Nat Mandir, reflecting the life, message, and ideals of Swamiji.

The observance included Special Puja, Shivanam Sankirtana, Homa, Bhajans, and Classical Music. Readings from the Kathopanishad and The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda were conducted, followed by discourses on Swamiji’s life and teachings, emphasizing his timeless message of character-building, self-reliance, and service to humanity.

The programme witnessed a large gathering, with approximately 3,100 devotees and visitors attending the celebration throughout the day. As part of the Ashrama’s tradition of service, cooked prasad was distributed to about 2,700 participants.
