On Thursday, 8th January 2026, an Initiated Devotees’ Convention was solemnly held at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, centered on the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The convention was organized to deepen spiritual understanding and reinforce the practice of Swamiji’s life-transforming philosophy among initiated devotees.
The programme witnessed active participation from inmate monastics of the Ashrama, along with dedicated volunteers, creating a spiritually vibrant and disciplined atmosphere. The main attractions of the convention included Vedic chanting, readings from Swami–Shishya Samvad and Karma Yoga, as well as devotional songs, Guided Meditation and discourses highlighting the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings in daily life.
A total of 296 initiated devotees participated in the convention with deep devotion and attentiveness. At the conclusion of the programme, cooked prasad was served to all participants. As a token of remembrance and spiritual encouragement, complementary sets of 100 photographs of the Holy Trinity for distribution were distributed to each participant.
