Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri organized a Nara-Narayana Seva for Putimari and its adjoining areas on 9th December 2025 at Putimari village, under Maynaguri Block, District Jalpaiguri—an area that had suffered severe devastation during the tornado in early week of June 2024. This initiative reflects the Ashrama’s ongoing commitment to serving distressed and vulnerable communities with compassion, dignity, and the spirit of selfless service. Putimari and its adjoining areas have remained a focus for the Ashrama since the tornado relief operations. Continuing these humanitarian efforts, the monks and volunteers of the Ashrama visited Putimari once again and served nutritious cooked food to the residents, including children, elderly persons, and economically weaker families. During this programme Spiritual discourse, Kirtan, Devotional songs, Health- Modern Gadgets- Hygeine- Environment awareness program has taken place. In the end, 710 people were served Khichuri, Aloo Dum, Papad, Chutney, Payes, and Sweet and all partook of the prasada together in a spirit of unity and gratitude.
