Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, observed Mahashivaratri on 26th February 2025, Wednesday, with great fervor. The celebration featured a series of sacred rituals, including:
- Puja and Jalabhishek to Lord Shiva
- Shivanritya, a traditional dance offering by Hostel students and Bhajans
Around 200 devotees attended the puja, seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva. The event concluded with the distribution of prasad to all attendees. The Ashrama's Mahashivaratri celebration was a testament to the devotion and reverence of the community for Lord Shiva. The event provided a spiritual and peaceful atmosphere, allowing attendees to connect with the divine.
